Welcome to WWW Wednesday! This meme is hosted by Taking on a World of Words.
Happy Wednesday!
I hope everyone’s having a great week! I have no complaints.
The Three Ws are:
What are you currently reading?
What did you recently finish reading?
What do you think you’ll read next?
WHAT ARE YOU CURRENTLY READING?
These are the 5 most recent books I’ve started. Yes, I have a ton of others still going, too.
WHAT DID YOU RECENTLY FINISH READING?

I gave both of these 4 1/2 stars. I definitely enjoyed both.
WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU’LL READ NEXT

These are just a handful of the many possibilities I have awaiting me. Who knows what I’ll actually pick up next.
Help! Need Recs!
I’d love to get some recs for the following prompts ~
- A title that starts with “W”
- Protagonist Uses a Mobility Aid
- Book about a band or musical group
- Title Starts with “Q”
- A book you know nothing about (an issue not well-known)
I do have options for these, but I’d love to hear any faves you have. These are some of the remaining prompts I have for my Feb. TBR that I still need to finish. I’d love to get as many knocked off the list as possible before Tropeathon.
What are your WWW’s today???
Happy Reading,
Alison
Ohh The Cheat Sheet! Also, for a book about a band I would vote for The Songbook Of Benny Lament by Amy Harmonas I LOVED that book (I assume you’ve already read Daisy Jones & The Six, if not that one too). A book title beginning with Q would be Queens Of Geek by Jen Wilde… And a book title beginning with W has a LOT of options, but probably We Begin At The End by Chris Whitaker, What The Wind Knows by Amy Harmon or With The Fire On High by Elizabeth Acevedo? Woven In Moonlight by Isabel Ibañez was great too.

I haven’t read Daisy Jones & the Six yet. I have read What the Wind Knows – LOVED it. And I went with your other W suggestion ~ With the Fire on High. I’m just now getting to comment because my wifi was acting up, but I very much enjoyed it! It was my first Acevedo book, but it won’t be my last. Thanks so much for the recs!!

Oh yay, that makes me happy that you enjoyed With The Fire On High! Her other books are slightly different (written in verse), but all excellent as well. xx

I’ve been wanting to read The Poet X for a while now. Reading this one had me more excited to get to the others!

Yay that’s great to hear! Both The Poet X and Clap When You Land are stunning and the fact that it’s fully in verse doesn’t make it harder to read them at all.

I heard that they’re fantastic to listen to since she narrates them herself. I’m looking forward to the slam poetry!

I didn’t know that! I’m sure that makes the experience even better.

Yes, I love when authors narrate their own books!

Comeback: A K-Pop novel is on KU and would count as a band or group I would assume! I really liked that one! for a W I would go with We Were Kings by Court Stevens but I am bias on that one, lol.

We Were Kings!! I totally forgot about that one, but you definitely had me wanting to read it. Unfortunately I just checked and can’t find it on any of my library apps. Boo!

That is a shame!

It is on audible, so if it doesn’t pop up on a library app, I’ll use an audible credit for it later. I can’t this month because I’m using my credit for House of Breath and Sky, which I’m super excited for.

I love it when I’m reading multiple books mat a time! 🙂

I hear a lot of people say that. LOL! For me it’s just the same as watching several different TV series at the same time.

What You Can See From Here by Mariana Leky was a great read, if you want to check it out for your W prompt!

That wasn’t even on my radar, so I just added it to my TBR. Thanks for the rec!!

For your W prompt – The Wedding Crasher and the Cowboy was great, or Well Played by Jen Deluca.

I’m all caught up on DeLuca’s series, but I haven’t read the other one. It is on my TBR, though!

Evie Mitchell has a lot of books with disability rep. I haven’t read them yet but I really want too. One I really want to read is Knot My Type. A titular that starts with a W When Sparks Fly by Helena Hunting. I can’t remember if you’ve read this one or not.

Thanks for the recs!! I have read and enjoyed some of Hunting’s books, but I haven’t read that one.

I just saw Cheat Sheet around and put it on hold. Never read the author before but I’m excited! I can’t wait to see what you think of it. For recs– for a protagonist with a mobility aide- How to Walk Away, a musical group or band- Daisy Jones.. if you haven’t read those! For a book you know nothing about– I just did a book that I went in blind and didn’t know anything about. lol

How to Walk Away – great suggestion! Center is on my list of authors I want to try this year, so two birds, one stone. I thought about doing the same thing for a book you know nothing about. LOL!

It’s the book I used for that prompt because I wanted to finally try her too!! It was really good. Haha, yes.. don’t make it harder.. there’s already so many prompts!! 🙂

Dear Hear, I Hate You was my first and favorite book by J. Sterling. I am so happy you loved it. I can’t wait for you to read Cheat Sheet.

It was my favorite of the Sterling books I’ve read. I didn’t love the ghosting at all, but I loved everything else about their relationship.

I have had mixed results with Sterling, but this one has a lot of great ratings. I have to check it out

Same here. I think this was my favorite, but I did get annoyed at the climax point. I loved about 95% of the book, though.

If that’s he “conflict”, I always roll my eyes at those. They don’t ruin the story for me though. I think because some sort of mess is expected at some point in a romance.

You can definitely expect things to go wrong, for sure. There are just some issues that are easier for me to get past than others. And I imagine I could probably get past most issues, if I feel like I got enough good on the other side of the issue. If that makes sense. I need the equation to tipped so that I’m not focusing on the bad anymore. LOL!
