Happy Monday! I hope you’ve all had a great weekend. My weekend was definitely better than the previous one. Friday night my youngest two went to a concert with my mom. I was supposed to go, too, but I opted out because of my back. It’s a lot better, but I was concerned about how I’d feel after all of the stairs and sitting in the hard seats for hours. My husband took me out to my favorite restaurant on the lake, though, and the weather was beautiful.
Saturday my mom grilled us all burgers and then Sunday I made dinner while my mom and youngest two wrapped up the chicken coop, so we could finally move the chickens outside. All in all, I enjoyed a lot of outdoors time in the beautiful weather.

It’s Monday! What Are You Reading? a place to meet up and share what you have been, and are about to be reading over the week. It’s a great post to organise yourself. It’s an opportunity to visit and comment and er… add to your groaning TBR pile! So welcome in everyone. This meme started on J Kaye’s blog and then was hosted by Sheila from Book Journey. Sheila then passed it on to Kathryn at The Book Date. Jen Vincent, Teach Mentor Texts, and Kellee of Unleashing Readers decided to give It’s Monday! a kidlit focus. If you read and review books in children’s literature – picture books, chapter books, middle grade novels, young adult novels or anything in those genres – join them.
WHAT I READ

As you can see, I read a variety of genres since Wednesday. I got in some poetry, a classic, some contemporary romances, a horror, and a mystery. My faves were Pause, Still House, Rockaway Bride, and The Good Sister. I was most surprised by how much I enjoyed Still House since it was a horror. It had just the right amount of creep factor for me. That’s probably because it was just a novella. LOL!
WHAT I’M READING NOW

These are all of the books that I’ve made progress in recently.
WHAT I’M READING NEXT
(Or More Appropriately: Things on my TBR)

These are all possibilities, but who knows. I’ve mostly been listening to audiobooks lately because I can listen while I work, and it helps me to consume a lot more books than if I only picked up one when I had the time to sit and rest, which I don’t do much of. I’m out of Hoopla borrows for the month, so I’ve been relying on audible plus and Overdrive. I’m just bummed because Hoopla usually has more options I’m interested in.
How’s your Monday going???
Happy Reading,
Pippa Grant is so much fun! Some are more fun than others, but she’s on my go to list for rom coms.

So glad your back was better and you were able to enjoy the weekend. I am jealous of your nice weather. It was 24 degrees when I left for work and only got as high as 30 today. Way too cold for almost April. I am listening to Finlay Donovan right now and it’s great being back with all those maniacs.

We have definitely had some nice weather, but unfortunately we have more storms moving in tomorrow. I’m already over tornado season and it’s just getting kicked off. I’m enjoying Finlay and the cast, too!!
