Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl.
Today’s a freebie, and I often struggle with what I want to do for freebies. Fortunately, that wasn’t the case for today. I’m only just now getting this posted because I’ve been busy with a bunch of other tasks on my to-do list.
I am such a fan of reading retellings. I just can’t seem to get enough of the stories I love. So, I figured I share 10 stories that I love to read retellings of. And, I’m sharing some retellings I enjoyed. I might have to do another of these posts soon where I’m sharing books from my TBR instead.
~Stories I Love to Have Retold~
Beauty and the Beast

Jane Eyre
Hades and Persephone

Pride and Prejudice

Psyche
Romeo and Juliet
Anna Karenina
Cinderella

Red Riding Hood
King Arthur

Geekerella is a favorite of mine. I thought Poston did a nice job with that one, and I enjoyed the parts she changed as well. When the Shoe Fits was a good Cinderella retelling too.

Yes, I really enjoyed it, too, along with all of the changes. If the Shoe Fits is on my TBR. Hopefully I can squeeze it in sometime soon.

I love P&P retellings (and rereading P&P itself)! I thoroughly enjoyed Mary’s story. It was a bit long in a couple places, but I still found it very enjoyable. Hope you love it!!
