Hi, my bookish friends! I’m actually getting this post up before dark today. It’s still afternoon, but I’m going to focus on the improvement. I still haven’t finished a single book, but I’m slowly finding that books are grabbing me more. Hopefully I’ll get something finished today or tomorrow at the latest.
In other news, my uncle surprised us by stopping by while traveling for work. Unfortunately we were under tornado warnings most of the night so things weren’t very festive. He’ll be dropping back by for the night. We’ve continued to have storms throughout the day, but they’re supposed to be gone by dinner time. We’re planning to go out and eat some crawfish.
That being said, there were a lot of people injured in our area last night and a lot of homes destroyed. So, my thoughts are with them today.

Stay safe!! I hope the storms will go away soon. I finally finished Tales from the Shadowhunter Academy by Cassandra Clare today as well as Heartstopper vol 2 by Alice Oseman. I think now I’m going to finally, hopefully be able to start The Guncle.

Thanks! It seems to be the norm for this time of year around here. Fortunately we only had some minor damage we’ve had to deal with. So many have lost everything, though.
