Happy Wednesday!
Hi, my bookish friends! I hope you’re all having a great week. My daughter and I have been doing a lot of work out in the yard over the last couple days, but it’s getting too hot too fast. We’ve been having temps way too close to a 100 degrees and it’s only May. So, we’re having to make sure we stay well hydrated. Our gardens are looking great, though.
The Three Ws are:
What are you currently reading?
What did you recently finish reading?
What do you think you’ll read next?
WHAT ARE YOU CURRENTLY READING?
These are all of the books that I’ve made progress in over the last week.
WHAT DID YOU RECENTLY FINISH READING?

I enjoyed each of these beauties!
WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU’LL READ NEXT

These have all been listed here for weeks now. Maybe I’ll actually get to one of them?
Which books are you enjoying this week???
Happy Reading,
Alison
Meet Me in the Margins was very cute. I enjoyed how low-angst it was! I’m also very impressed that your taking on Thornbirds — that one is a BRICK

It was a cute and perfect for a light low-angst read. I’m very slowly working my way through The Thorn Birds. I’m reading it with a couple of my besties. I hear it’s about to get sad.

Too early in May for temps that high. Stay cool! I have my eye on Meet Me in the Margins. Sounds like a fun one.

It is too early! I did have fun with Meet Me in the Margins. I wish we’d have gotten a little more of the notes they wrote to each other, but I did enjoy that there was a bigger focus on their connection in person.

Already nearing 100? Ugh, I am so not ready for that. We’ve had a cooler than normal week (mid-80’s) and I am enjoying it while it lasts. I know those brutal temps are coming! Happy reading!

I am not ready either!! I’m hoping it’s a fluke and that the rest of the spring and summer will be cooler than usual. I’m sure that’s just wishful thinking.

100 degrees in May? No thank you! I don’t even want 100 degrees in July or August. Hope you loved Grant’s and Reid’s books.

Same here!! I definitely enjoyed Grant’s book, but surprise surprise, I haven’t started Reid’s book yet.

I need to read a book by Penny Reid. My sister has really liked them.

I have enjoyed all of hers (that I’ve read) to varying degrees, but they were all good. I could see her books possibly being hit or miss for you. You should definitely give her a try!

I hope you’re enjoying being outside! Close to 100 degrees is NOT fun, though. Enjoy Evelyn Hugo when you get to it, it’s a good story!

Thanks! And no, 100 degrees is not fun. I love working out in the yard, but I’d much rather some cooler temps.
