Happy Monday! I hope you all had good weekends. We had a decent mixture of work and fun around here. And I got a bunch of reading squeezed in, too.
It’s Monday! What Are You Reading? a place to meet up and share what you have been, and are about to be reading over the week. It’s a great post to organise yourself. It’s an opportunity to visit and comment and er… add to your groaning TBR pile! So welcome in everyone. This meme started on J Kaye’s blog and then was hosted by Sheila from Book Journey. Sheila then passed it on to Kathryn at The Book Date. Jen Vincent, Teach Mentor Texts, and Kellee of Unleashing Readers decided to give It’s Monday! a kidlit focus. If you read and review books in children’s literature – picture books, chapter books, middle grade novels, young adult novels or anything in those genres – join them.
WHAT I READ

I enjoyed each of these with the exception of Lovers. It wasn’t bad writing, it just wasn’t my cup of tea. Hopefully I’ll get some reviews up soon! I’ve read so many great books this month that it’ll be seriously hard to pick a favorite.
WHAT I’M READING NOW

These are the books that I’ve recently made progress in.
WHAT I’M READING NEXT

I have fulfilled all but one TropeAthon category (I’m reading a book for it now), but I’d like to continue reading books for the chosen tropes until it’s over. These are just some of my possibilities of what I’ll pick up next.
What books are you loving right now??
Happy Reading,
AHHH THAT GIF IS TOO RELATABLE 🤣🤣

Smart mouth sounds really fun and I *still* need to read The Worst Best Man. I’m glad to hear that you enjoyed these books. I enjoyed To Hate Adam Connor a lot more than the first book in the series so I hope you enjoy it too! Happy reading, Ali 😃

Wow you only have one book left for Tropeathon, that’s awesome. Did you double up on any of the prompts or did you read different books for each trope? I have 3 books left and one of those books works for 5 of the tropes.

When it’s all over I’m going to take a look and see if I have a book for each prompt or if I have to double up with some. I’ll probably just do a breakdown of the prompts and the books I read that fit that prompt. I know I read several books that fit multiple prompts. One book fitting 5 tropes is impressive, though. I don’t think I have any that covered that many.

I’m so glad I had one book that fit so many because I know I wouldn’t have been able to read 12 books.

Twelve is a lot for just a couple weeks. I can’t believe I’ve gotten through as many as I have.
