  1. Great selection! I’ve only read Harry Potter of these… The Shadow Of The Wind would probably be at the top of mine; I must have read that book a dozen times in multiple languages. Also A Monster Calls, The Name Of The Wind, A Thousand Splendid Suns, It’s Kind Of A Funny Story, Neverwhere…

    • I read North and South earlier this year as a buddy read with my two besties. Neither of them enjoyed it too much, but I loved it, and I could see some big similarities to Pride and Prejudice in it. But, I was the only one out of the three of us that it worked for.
