Happy Monday! I hope you all had a good weekend. Saturday we went to a pumpkin farm and then came home and decorated for Halloween. Here’s a taste of some of our work. And then Saturday evening we watched Hocus Pocus 2.

It’s an opportunity to visit and comment and er… add to your groaning TBR pile! So welcome in everyone. This meme started on J Kaye’s blog and then was hosted by Sheila from Book Journey. Sheila then passed it on to Kathryn at The Book Date. Jen Vincent, Teach Mentor Texts, and Kellee of Unleashing Readers decided to give It’s Monday! a kidlit focus. If you read and review books in children’s literature – picture books, chapter books, middle grade novels, young adult novels or anything in those genres – join them.

I still have a lot of other books going, but these are the only ones I’ve made progress in since Wednesday. I spent a lot of time outdoors this weekend with little reading getting done.

WHAT I’M READING NEXT

Today I’ll be starting A Court of Honey and Ash. It’s a buddy read I’ll be doing with Julie at One Book More, and I’m super excited to get started! Lovelight Farms will be my next audiobook after I finish listening to Belladonna. Lavender House will be my next physical book read after I finish The Luminaries.
