I love being able to draw attention to other book lovers out there that are encouraging me to pick up books, and that’s what this weekly meme will be all about. This is a thank you for adding to my toppling TBR pile. So, each week I’ll be sharing books that I added to my TBR along with the blogger, Bookstagrammer, BookTuber, etc. that convinced me to add it. They might not have even necessarily enjoyed it, but they shared it, and it grabbed my attention.

Who Convinced Me??
Sam @ We Live and Breathe Books
New York Times bestselling author Nalini Singh brings you a sinfully playful contemporary romance between two sworn enemies turned partners in crime . . . Daniel Esera is a young god on the rugby field, a sexy and charming man who’s got the world at his feet. There’s just one problem: his sudden potent attraction to his number one nemesis–Catie River. No. Just no. Not happening. Catie River is on her way to Paralympic gold, and she’s not about to allow Danny “Hotshot” Esera to derail her plans. Too bad her body isn’t cooperating. Even worse? Her heart might be coming along for the ride. No. Nope. Never. The pair are united in their desire to remain enemies . . . until a stranger’s reckless action threatens both their careers. Now, the only way out for Catie and Danny is to pretend to be in a relationship. How bad can it be? They’re adults in full control of their hormones and their hearts. There will be no kissing. No PDA. And definitely no falling in love. Let the games begin. Contains mature themes.
Who Convinced Me??
Captured by a king of darkness. Forced to find the light within.
Arwen Valondale never expected to be the brave one, offering her life to save her brother’s. Now she’s been taken prisoner by the most dangerous kingdom on the continent, and made to use her rare magical abilities to heal the soldiers of the vicious Onyx King.
Arwen knows better than to face the ancient, wicked woods that surround the castle on her own, which means working with a fellow prisoner might be her only path to freedom. Unfortunately, he’s as infuriating as he is cunning—and seems to take twisted pleasure in playing on Arwen’s deepest fears.
But here in Onyx Kingdom, trust is a luxury she can’t afford.
To make it out of enemy territory, she’ll have to navigate back-stabbing royals, dark magic, and dangerous beasts. But untold power lies inside Arwen, dormant and waiting for a spark. If she can harness it, she just might be able to escape with her life—and hopefully, her heart.

The World Was Hers For the Reading
Payton
Running away from home at 17 wasn’t easy. Let’s face it though, nothing before, or in the ten years since, has ever been easy for me.
And I’m doing okay. Sorta. I just need to keep scraping by, living under the radar. Staying out of people’s way, off people’s minds.
So when a man walks through my open patio door, stepping boldly into my home, and my life, I should be scared. Frightened. Terrified.
But I must be more broken than I realized, because I’m none of those things.
I’m intrigued.
And I’m wondering if the way to take control of my life is by giving in to him.
Nero
The first time I took a man’s life, I knew there’d be no going back. No normal existence in the cards for me.
So instead of walking away, I climbed a mountain of bodies, and created my own destiny. By forming The Alliance.
And I was fine with that. Content enough to carry on.
Until I stepped through those open doors, and into her life.
I should’ve walked away. Should’ve gone right back out the door I came through. But I didn’t.
And now her life is in danger.
But that’s the thing about being a bad man. I’ll happily paint the streets red to protect what’s mine.
And Payton is mine. Whether she knows it or not.
Who Convinced Me??
Hockey with benefits. That was what Mara proposed, and I was down.
She said no feelings and she meant it.
Just benefits. No strings attached. Nothing else. Not even friendship.
College was her escape, including us.
I didn’t have time for a girlfriend.
I had classes, the team, my family, and the game.
It was all working too…
Until somewhere down the line, things got messy.
Until somehow we were dealing with threats, secrets, rivals, and so much more.
Until I began to want her in ways that weren’t part of the deal.
Our agreement didn’t just get checked into the wall, it got obliterated.
Who Convinced Me??
Sascha @ Sascha Darlington’s Microcosm Explored
The Devil craves beauty. Even in himself.
The vampire will make magnificent promises and I will say yes.
The man I give my heart to will steal my soul.
Syrsee
My grandma gave me these words of wisdom just before she died.
Then she told me to run.
Because if the old witch is dying, then he needs a new one.
And that’s me.
This is my curse.
I am the vampire’s power.
I am the vampire’s strength.
I am the vampire’s food.
And he is very, very hungry.
Ryet
I hate him, but I crave him.
I want to be rid of him, but I also want him next to me.
I want to feed on him and sometimes I dream about him feeding on me.
It feels like a trick. Like abuse.
Like Stockholm syndrome.
But it’s not. It’s just… the blood.
I am the vampire’s scion.
I am the vampire’s slave.
I am the vampire’s future.
And he will never let me go.
Paul
I am the vampire.
Once you make a deal with me, it’s done.
There’s no going back.
Once I bite my lip—
Once I bare my teeth—
Once I let it drip—
He’s mine.
She’s mine.
And together we are blood lovers.
Blood Lovers is a dark, seductive journey into a world where the blood runs black, the dreams are purple, and the demons aren’t just dangerous, they’re beautiful. Masterfully told by New York Times bestselling author, JA Huss—it’s a book that will change the lore forever.
Who Convinced Me??
Inspired by the story of Beauty and the Beast, four authors offer their sexy interpretations of that classic fairy tale…
A beauty unchained…
For ten years Cora Walker has yearned to return to Blackwood Manor…and to her childhood companion, Gideon Blake. But her dream of returning home soon becomes a nightmare — and the fully grown, dangerously sexy Gideon is nothing like the young man she’d loved before.
A beast unleashed…
Cursed by the monster that killed his family, Gideon sacrificed his heart to protect Cora from the beast that lurks beneath his skin. But when she returns and the curse chains her to his side, he only has two choices: to persuade her to marry him though he has stolen her freedom… or die to save her from the beast within.
