The Rory Gilmore Reading Challenge

There are 339 books that Rory Gilmore was seen reading on The Gilmore Girls, which you can find HERE. When I was looking at all of the reading challenges prior to the beginning of the year, I was feeling particularly challenged to tackle this list especially when I saw that my score fell below average. The average is 51 out of the 339. And I started the year out at only 24. There are a few books that I might have read, but I’m not 100% sure if I completely read them through or just skimmed through them because I read them back in school over 20 years ago or to my kids when they were very little: Fahrenheit 451, The Outsiders, Stuart Little, Goldilocks and the Three Bears (not sure about this version) and Of Mice and Men. So, I’m going to reread these instead of just marking them as read. My goal was to just make some progress this year. So, essentially I wanted to read at least one book from the list that I hadn’t already read. Here are the books I’d read prior to 2020 ~ And here are the books I’ve read in 2020 ~ Only 1, but HEY! That was my goal! So, goal completed!! However, I will be knocking at least a couple more off of this list before the year is out. For now, I’ve read 25 of the 339 books. That’s 7% of the whole list.
