Y’all, I really thought this would be an impossible task! I didn’t think I’d be able to narrow down my favorites to a top 20, let alone a top 10. I had quite a few 5 star reads this year. Well, my memory has seriously helped with the narrowing down process! How? Well, after about 200 books read, a lot of them start running together, and I have trouble remembering a lot of them. I’m sure if I went back and read my review it would all come back to me, but there were some clear stand outs this year that were impossible to forget.

Quips & Quotes 11/10/19
I LOVE keeping track of quotes that speak to me. Some turn me to mush. Some are profound and make me think. Some are just funny or entertaining. I often include a quote or two in my reviews, but I thought it would be fun to start a weekly post sharing my favorites from the previous week. So, without further ado, here’s my Quips & Quotes ~
“You find your purpose when your love for someone else becomes bigger than your fears.”
Hold on to Hope ~ Review

Title: Hold on to Hope
Series: N/A
Author: A.L. Jackson
Release Date: Oct. 11, 2019
Genres: Contemporary Romance
Blurb: A best friends-to-lovers, stand-alone romance from New York Times Bestselling Author, A.L. Jackson . . .
Evan Bryant wasn’t your typical hero.
But he was mine.
Broken by the worlds’ standards, he was still the strongest boy I would ever know.
My best friend. The boy I’d given everything to. My heart, my body, and the promise of forever.
The day I’d needed him most, he walked away.
He left me shattered and questioning the love I’d thought we’d shared.
Three years later, I wasn’t prepared for him to return to Gingham Lakes.
It wouldn’t have mattered if he wasn’t the most beautiful man I’d ever seen.
My fingers still would have ached to caress his skin.
My body still would have begged to get lost in his touch.
And my heart . . . it would have always sung his name.
But time changes things. With it, secrets that could ruin everything.
Can we find a way to love again, or have the fears of our past stolen the hope of our forever . . .

It’s Monday! What Are You Reading? a place to meet up and share what you have been, and are about to be reading over the week. It’s a great post to organise yourself. It’s an opportunity to visit and comment and er… add to your groaning TBR pile! So welcome in everyone. This meme started on J Kaye’s blog and then was hosted by Sheila from Book Journey. Sheila then passed it on to Kathryn at The Book Date. Jen Vincent, Teach Mentor Texts, and Kellee of Unleashing Readers decided to give It’s Monday! a kidlit focus. If you read and review books in children’s literature – picture books, chapter books, middle grade novels, young adult novels or anything in those genres – join them.
Stacking the Shelves ~ 11/2/19
