June 2020 Monthly Wrap-Up

Let me just be upfront about this. I didn’t do so hot with guessing which books I’d pick up in June. Epic fail for sure! I only read 4 of them!! Yikes. But, that’s okay. I did read some other books instead…

Here was my June TBR.

It’s Monday! What Are You Reading? a place to meet up and share what you have been, and are about to be reading over the week. It’s a great post to organise yourself. It’s an opportunity to visit and comment and er… add to your groaning TBR pile! So welcome in everyone. This meme started on J Kaye’s blog and then was hosted by Sheila from Book Journey. Sheila then passed it on to Kathryn at The Book Date. Jen Vincent, Teach Mentor Texts, and Kellee of Unleashing Readers decided to give It’s Monday! a kidlit focus. If you read and review books in children’s literature – picture books, chapter books, middle grade novels, young adult novels or anything in those genres – join them.

June 2020 TBR

I don’t know why it’s always such fun for me to put together a TBR each month because I have yet to read everything on my TBR for a month. But, I think I just love lists and I love looking at books, so TBR it is! Mostly I look and see what’s currently available on my wishlist through Overdrive and/or Hoopla. This always changes of course, and I’m never sure about when holds will come through for the books that I had to put on hold to actually be able to get my hands on them. But, here’s a list of some potential reads for me coming in June. Oh, and I’ll be taking a little vacation this month, and I never get as much reading done as I hope to get done while on vacation. However, it’ll just be me and my family in a secluded cabin on a lake. So, I’m envisioning some sun soaking with a book in my hand!
