The Disney Parks Book Tag

I was tagged to do the Disney Parks Book Tag by Dini at Dinipandareads. This tag originated over at Reading By Starlight. Be sure to go check out their blogs!!

I have to admit here that I’ve never been to Disney outside of the the Disney Walk in Florida. The one time I gave my kids the option, they chose Universal over Disney. My oldest was obsessed with Spongebob as a kid. BUT, I am a huge Disney movie fan. I can’t get enough of Beauty and the Beast or Aladdin among many others. So, here goes ~

WWW Wednesday ~ 4/1/20

Welcome to WWW Wednesday! This meme is hosted by Taking on a World of Words.

The Three Ws are:

What are you currently reading?
What did you recently finish reading?
What do you think you’ll read next?

Happy Wednesday! How are y’all doing today? My family and I are all doing well. We’re doing our best to thrive in this mess, and honestly I’m just really feeling grateful for all the family time we’re getting! And it didn’t rain yesterday, nor has it rained today. Bonus!! I’ve been enjoying lots of board games with the kiddos, and other games that we made up ourselves. One we played last night revolved around music. We take turns playing 2 songs each. Points go to the first person that can name the title, artist, and album – one point each. We’ve played this a lot over the years on all our car rides. Living out in the country means even a trip to the closest Walmart is 20 minutes. But, I can say that my kids have a rather large music appreciation from it.

#IMWAYR ~ 3/23/20

Alison here ~

It’s Monday! What Are You Reading? a place to meet up and share what you have been, and are about to be reading over the week. It’s a great post to organise yourself. It’s an opportunity to visit and comment and er… add to your groaning TBR pile! So welcome in everyone. This meme started on J Kaye’s blog and then was hosted by Sheila from Book Journey. Sheila then passed it on to Kathryn at The Book Date. Jen Vincent, Teach Mentor Texts, and Kellee of Unleashing Readers decided to give It’s Monday! a kidlit focus. If you read and review books in children’s literature – picture books, chapter books, middle grade novels, young adult novels or anything in those genres – join them.
