#IMWAYR ~ 4/11/22

Happy Monday! I’m just barely squeezing this in on time. I hope you’ve all had a great weekend. My Friday was a bit of a nightmare, so I spent the rest of the weekend just wanting to hang onto my kids for dear life. I’ll preface this by saying that we’re all at home and okay!

Happy Monday! I hope you’ve all had a great weekend. My oldest came home for the weekend, and it’s been weeks since I’ve seen him, so it made my weekend. He’s heading to the Wildlife Society’s annual student Conclave in the Smoky Mountains this week. While he was home we got the pollinator garden planted that he’s been wanting to do. I’ll share some pics once we get some flowers.

Happy Monday! I hope you’ve all had a great weekend. My weekend was definitely better than the previous one. Friday night my youngest two went to a concert with my mom. I was supposed to go, too, but I opted out because of my back. It’s a lot better, but I was concerned about how I’d feel after all of the stairs and sitting in the hard seats for hours. My husband took me out to my favorite restaurant on the lake, though, and the weather was beautiful.

Saturday my mom grilled us all burgers and then Sunday I made dinner while my mom and youngest two wrapped up the chicken coop, so we could finally move the chickens outside. All in all, I enjoyed a lot of outdoors time in the beautiful weather.

Happy Monday! I hope you’ve all had a great weekend, or that it was better than mine. I spent Saturday morning in the ER after injuring my back Thursday evening. I had to get a couple shots to help with muscle spasms in my lower back. The back pain was bad enough that I could barely walk, my hubs had to dress me and even buckle the seat belt for me.

There were lots of blessings through it all, though. My hub’s care and attention have been amazing. My mom took care of our meals, and my daughter stepped up in epic levels to seeing to all of the household chores without ever being asked. And praise God I’m on the mend. With the help of the muscle relaxers and anti-inflammatory pills I can at least sleep comfortably and dress myself again. I can’t bend over far, but my daughter is helping me with all of the tasks I need help with. And I can’t forget to mention that it also helped me squeeze in LOADS of reading!

Happy Monday! I hope you all had a great weekend. I had my besties and their families over on Saturday. My hubs grilled an alligator (does this not scream Louisiana?), and we played some girls vs guys games. It was a good time.

Our weather here can’t seem to make up its mind, though I hear that seems to be par for the course everywhere. One day we’re hitting 80 and the next it’s snowing. We’re hoping to be able to get out and get some more work done this coming weekend. Right now it looks like we’ll have nice weather in the low 70s. Fingers crossed.

Happy Monday! I hope you all had a great weekend. I got a bit of gardening done over the weekend. And we got some tilling done. And best, I managed to work through the weekend without retriggering the migraine that just wouldn’t seem to go away. We’re having some gloomy weather right now, but I’ll just some pics posted of our progress after I get some more sunshine.

Happy Monday! I have been fighting a migraine for about a week. I did manage to get 12 trees planted in my yard Saturday. I planned out upcoming changes to our vegetable garden with my mom. And we made plans for chickens, which we’re soon to start raising again. We also discussed plans with my oldest son, who came home for the weekend, on his wanting to start a pollinator garden here. He did a little prep work for that, too, since some of the seeds he ordered had started arriving. That’ll be a two birds one stone sort of thing. We can use the pollinators for our garden, especially for our different varieties of squash, and he wants to observe the insects it will attract when he visits. Unfortunately after all of the work I did Saturday morning, my head was pounding again that night. At least I accomplished something first.

Happy Monday! I hope you all had a great weekend. My besties came over Saturday, and we got to share all of the books we’ve read since our last get together. And to discuss the books we’re group reading. And we played Mind the Gap, a quiz game, with our hubbies afterwards. So, it was, of course, a lot of fun.
