Readathon Updates #Tropeathon ~ 11/5/21

Happy Friday! I hope you have all had a great week. I feel like I’ve had a very productive one. I set up a FB group this week for people to buy, sell, and trade books and bookish items – Continental U.S. only (Sorry!), so if any of you are interested, here’s the site ~ https://www.facebook.com/groups/alisbooks4u. I am just getting it set up, so I don’t have a ton of posts up yet, nor have I sent out many invites yet.

Now let’s see what progress I made this week ~

Readathon Updates #Tropeathon ~ 10/29/21

Happy Friday! I hope you have all had a great week. My oldest son competes in disc golf tournaments, and he has a tournament at a state park this weekend. It’s half way between his school and our house, so we’re going to go camping for the weekend there. We’re taking some other friends and family, too. It’s the second year we’ve done this, and I’m looking forward to a fun weekend.

Now let’s see what progress I made this week ~

Happy Friday! I hope you have all had a great week. No complaints here. I’m looking forward to getting together with my besties tomorrow. We’re having a fall-themed get together. My daughter and I made pumpkin spiced rice krispie treats and pumpkin spiced snickerdoodles today for the occasion.

Let’s see what progress I made over the last couple weeks~

Happy Friday! I hope you have all had a great week. I’ve been suffering with migraines this week, so I’m really hoping I can get through the weekend without a repeat performance. As long as I’m feeling okay I’m expecting to have lunch with my besties tomorrow, so I’m looking forward to that!

Let’s see what progress I made this week along with new TBRs~

Readathon Updates ~ 9/24/21

Happy Friday! I hope you have all had a great week, and that those of you who have needed some relief from the heat are finally getting it.

I have read several books since last week’s update, but I believe only a couple of them will mark off some prompts. Let’s see ~

Readathon Updates ~ 9/17/21

Happy Friday! I hope you have all had a great week. I am loving the start of the fall weather here in Louisiana. Some of the leaves are beginning to change and our days are getting shorter. And we got some much needed rain today. Plus pumpkin everything! I’m eating a pumpkin donut as I type this.

I have been loving immersing myself in seasonal reads. I’ve been reading tons of horror and thrillers and that’s so unusual for me, but I’m so very much enjoying it. I’m still reading plenty of romance, too, though. And I’m also currently reading a Christmas book (and just finished another one). So, I have plenty of light to counter the dark. Plus, it’s not all dark, a lot of fall reads are just cozy.

O.W.L.S Readathon TBR

Hello Everyone! First let me say that I’ve been slacking with getting to my comments and blog hopping the last couple days. I promise I’ll catch up soon! I’ve been busy speeding through a couple books for my group reads and in between, I’ve been working on a puzzle with my kids. I’m squeezing this in while they’re all taking a break. My oldest went fishing with dad this afternoon. My hubs has really enjoyed getting to fish more with all the reduced hours. Anywho….I love a good readathon, and I haven’t come across one as exciting as Book Roast’s Magical Readathon. If you haven’t already heard about it in the past few years, or if you just want more info, you can find that HERE. I am just so excited about this!!
