I’m a little later than my usual with the wrap-up this month, but that’s okay. Good thing there’s no rules to this blogging thing. I can just do what I want when I feel like it. 🙂

March 2021 Monthly Wrap-Up
So the craziness continues here in Louisiana. April Fool’s decided to bring us an earthquake this year…except it wasn’t a joke. And the funny thing is…I slept through it, and I’m bummed about it. My mom, however, did not. She was up all night scared. She thought ppl were out on her porch and that it was shaking her trailer. She covertly looked and didn’t see anything, but stayed up all night scared. I do feel bad for her, but if you knew my mom, you’d also find it a bit funny. I should probably mention that earthquakes don’t happen here…I have never felt one before (well I guess I didn’t feel this one either). LOL!
Fortunately there wasn’t anything crazy going down in March (tornadoes around us, but fortunately none in my immediate area) – especially after the freak snow storm of February that so many are still recovering from.

Another month in the books already! I just don’t know where all this time is flying off to! At least I‘ve added a lot of books to my “read” column to have something to show for my time.
The only exciting thing around here for the month was all the white stuff on the ground. But, I was thankful for all the family time we had while everything was shut down around us.
Let’s see what I read in February ~

Happy Monday! I hope your week is off to a great start. January had its ups and downs for our family, but overall I don’t feel like I could complain. We’re all healthy and even my father-in-law has been doing well. And I got a ton of reading done!
Let’s see what I read in January ~

Is it really September already?!?! I don’t need to tell y’all that this has been the most bizarre year ever. Nonetheless, August was a good reading month for me.
Let’s see what I read ~

July 2020 Monthly Wrap-Up
Happy Tuesday! July was a fantastic reading month for me! I finally got out of my reading funk. I had been so terribly picky lately, but I’m finally out of that. I don’t know that I’m ready for anything high angst, but that’s always something I have to be careful of. It can leave me feeling just UGH!Â
For August I’ve decided to not do a TBR, but for now let’s see how I did with July.
Here are the books from my July TBR that I read ~

I’m not quite sure what happened to January, but it has surely left the building.

Ali’s December 2019 Monthly Wrap-Up

December was a bizarre reading month for me with the holidays. I can’t believe I read 15 books (16 really because The Maysen Jar Box Set has 2 books in it)! I was a reading machine at the beginning of the month, but I got very little reading done the last two weeks of the month since I had family and friends over nonstop.

Ali’s November 2019 Monthly Wrap-Up

Happy December everyone!! The Christmas season is upon us for all who are celebrating. Christmas is my absolute favorite!!! My daughter and I have been watching a different Christmas movie every day and doing lots of fun Christmas crafts. I’m a total workaholic, so I’ve been doing my best to slow down and be present in the moment and make memories!
I only read 11 books in November. That’s probably my least amount all year, and I’m betting December will be similar. But, that’s okay because I’m enjoying the holiday season. Plus, the holidays really amp up my to-do list. My books read total is now at 172.

Ali’s October 2019 Monthly Wrap-Up

Happy November everyone!! I just can’t believe the end of the year is here and the holiday season is upon us!!
I read 16 books in October and 10 of those were 5 or 4.5 star reads for me, so that’s a pretty good reading month as far as I’m concerned!
I also participated in TropeAThon 2 this month. I finished 5 out of the 8 tropes. Not bad for 1 week!
