Happy Thursday! I hope you’re all having a great week! It’s been too long since I’ve posted any reviews / thoughts on what I’m reading, so I’m correcting that problem today, and what better way to do it than to bring you 3 5-star reads!

It’s Monday! What Are You Reading? a place to meet up and share what you have been, and are about to be reading over the week. It’s a great post to organise yourself. It’s an opportunity to visit and comment and er… add to your groaning TBR pile! So welcome in everyone. This meme started on J Kaye’s blog and then was hosted by Sheila from Book Journey. Sheila then passed it on to Kathryn at The Book Date. Jen Vincent, Teach Mentor Texts, and Kellee of Unleashing Readers decided to give It’s Monday! a kidlit focus. If you read and review books in children’s literature – picture books, chapter books, middle grade novels, young adult novels or anything in those genres – join them.

Happy Tuesday everyone!! I hope your week has gotten off to a good start! Today’s Top Ten topic is Love Freebie.
What did I decide to go with???
My Top 10 Reads of 2019
Y’all, I really thought this would be an impossible task! I didn’t think I’d be able to narrow down my favorites to a top 20, let alone a top 10. I had quite a few 5 star reads this year. Well, my memory has seriously helped with the narrowing down process! How? Well, after about 200 books read, a lot of them start running together, and I have trouble remembering a lot of them. I’m sure if I went back and read my review it would all come back to me, but there were some clear stand outs this year that were impossible to forget.
20 Series I Need to Catch Up On
And my 2020 goals continue!! Today I’m sharing 20 book series that I want to make progress on in 2020. There are a handful of these that I will for sure finish, but others…well, let me just say that I’d be SHOCKED if I caught up – *cough* Black Dagger Brotherhood *cough*. I mean, have you seen the size of those books?!?
Ali’s November 2019 Monthly Wrap-Up
Linking up with Monthly Wrap-Up Round Up at Feed Your Fiction Addiction.
Happy December everyone!! The Christmas season is upon us for all who are celebrating. Christmas is my absolute favorite!!! My daughter and I have been watching a different Christmas movie every day and doing lots of fun Christmas crafts. I’m a total workaholic, so I’ve been doing my best to slow down and be present in the moment and make memories!
I only read 11 books in November. That’s probably my least amount all year, and I’m betting December will be similar. But, that’s okay because I’m enjoying the holiday season. Plus, the holidays really amp up my to-do list. My books read total is now at 172.

Title: Beard in Mind
Series: Winston Brothers #4
Author: Penny Reid
Release Date: July 31, 2017
Genres: Contemporary Romance
Blurb: He hates everything about her, so why can’t he get her out of his mind?
★★★★★ Goodreads Choice Award Semi-Finalist for Best Romance ★★★★★
From the NEW YORK TIMES, WALL STREET JOURNAL, & USA TODAY bestselling series
All is fair in love and auto maintenance.
Beau Winston is the nicest, most accommodating guy in the world. Usually.
Handsome as the devil and twice as charismatic, Beau lives a charmed life as everyone’s favorite Winston Brother. But since his twin decided to leave town, and his other brother hired a stunning human-porcupine hybrid as a replacement mechanic for their auto shop, Beau Winston’s charmed life has gone to hell in a handbasket.
Shelly Sullivan is not nice and is never accommodating. Ever.
She mumbles to herself, but won’t respond when asked a question. She glares at everyone, especially babies. She won’t shake hands with or touch another person, but has no problems cuddling with a dog. And her damn parrot speaks only in curse words. Beau wants her gone. He wants her out of his auto shop, out of Tennessee, and out of his life.
The only problem is, learning why this porcupine wears her coat of spikes opens a Pandora’s box of complexity—exquisite, tempting, heartbreaking complexity—and Beau Winston soon discovers being nice and accommodating might mean losing what matters most.
Beard in Mind is book #4 in the Winston Brothers series. Each book is a standalone, full length (110k words), contemporary romantic comedy novel, and follows the romantic exploits and adventures of one of the six Winston Brothers.
