Stacking the Shelves ~ 3/21/20

Happy Saturday! I hope at least you are finding things to be happy about today and that you’re feeling blessed amidst all the craziness. Today we’re celebrating my mom’s birthday. Her birthday isn’t until April and my mom lives just next door on our property, but we’ll be cutting ourselves off from her tomorrow. She is a nurse on the heart floor at our local hospital, and it was decided to make that the ground zero for the worst patients in our area as of yesterday. She’s off until tomorrow, though, so we’re going to celebrate today and spend our last day with her in who knows how long. We’ll still be able to shout across the yard and have phone calls on the days she gets home early enough or if she gets days off. We’re just going to make the best of our situation.

Ali here ~

It’s Monday! What Are You Reading? a place to meet up and share what you have been, and are about to be reading over the week. It’s a great post to organise yourself. Sheila then passed it on to Kathryn at The Book Date.Jen Vincent, Teach Mentor Texts, and Kellee of Unleashing Readers decided to give It’s Monday! a kidlit focus. If you read and review books in children’s literature – picture books, chapter books, middle grade novels, young adult novels or anything in those genres – join them.
