April showers bring May flowers???? I surely hope not. It seems we can’t go more than 2 days without rain and lots of it. So much that those 2 days are definitely not enough to dry things out, and I’d really like to spend some more time outside. I have been a homebody for years, so this quarantine hasn’t been a major adjustment for me on that front. But I do love spending time out in nature. I’m a country girl and I enjoy spending time out in my woods. I’m really missing that. But, hey, Anne Frank and so many others endured so much worse. Today’s a beautiful day here, though, so I’m going to enjoy it!
Now let’s see how I did with my March TBR. I’m really quite surprised that I did as well as I did considering all the craziness!
What are you currently reading? What did you recently finish reading? What do you think you’ll read next?
Happy Wednesday! How are y’all doing today? My family and I are all doing well. We’re doing our best to thrive in this mess, and honestly I’m just really feeling grateful for all the family time we’re getting! And it didn’t rain yesterday, nor has it rained today. Bonus!! I’ve been enjoying lots of board games with the kiddos, and other games that we made up ourselves. One we played last night revolved around music. We take turns playing 2 songs each. Points go to the first person that can name the title, artist, and album – one point each. We’ve played this a lot over the years on all our car rides. Living out in the country means even a trip to the closest Walmart is 20 minutes. But, I can say that my kids have a rather large music appreciation from it. Continue reading →
Y’all, I am soooo far behind on keeping up with reviews and such this year, and the craziness we’re all living in today just isn’t helping the matter…at all. But that’s okay. I’m going ahead and posting my progress, but it’s not actually up to date as I have more I need to add in, but I figured I’d go ahead and post what I have kept up to date in my records.
Is it really March already?!? I feel like my life is just flying past faster and faster. I am doing my best to slow things down a bit and appreciate the small things. I’m a workaholic, so that’s a bit hard for me. But, I’m looking forward to a family vacation at the end of the week, and I’m super excited that all 3 of my kids will be able to come! With my oldest in college and working part-time on top of that, it’s special when we get the chance to all be together.
With the vacation planned, I really have no idea how much actual reading I’ll get in this month, but I always enjoy putting together a TBR either way! So, here it is ~
