#SixforSunday ~ Couples Who Need a Sequel

#SixforSunday is hosted by Steph at A Little But A Lot. Every week there is a bookish-themed prompt to inspire 6 choices.

Today’s topic is Couples Who Need a Sequel. Two are classics, so obviously the authors aren’t around to give us sequels, but I want them anyways. I also have some that are just impossible, and if you’ve read the book then you know why.

If she wants her freedom, she has to take a close look at her past. But, her past has a heartbeat… and her kidnapper is nowhere to be found. With her survival hanging by a thread, Senna soon realizes this is a game. A dangerous one. Only the truth can set her free.

My *****5 Star***** Review

I love you and hate you, Tarryn Fisher!!

Oh, my gosh!!! This book was maddening from start to finish! Tarryn leads you on to then leave you second guessing yourself. Then you’ll think you have it figured out again only to second guess yourself. But, wait! It might be – NOPE! Wrong again! And on and on and on and on and on…

Will there be a happy ending or horrific deaths? Is this a love story or not. Who will be destroyed in all of this? Will people be changed for the better or worse?

WHO IS BEHIND ALL OF THIS?!? Is it him? Is it her? Is it a stalker? WHO IS IT?!?

These questions will drive you completely INSANE!!! You’ll be on the edge of your seat WAITING, DYING for something to happen – ANYTHING to happen. But, you’ll just continue to be driven through the slow and painful torture. It is MADDENING!

So, I say this book is definitely NOT for everyone. But, if what I described sounds like your cup of tea, then by all means have at it!

Anyway…love and coke. The consequences for both are expensive: you get a mighty fine high, then you come barreling down, regretting every hour you spent reveling in something so dangerous. But you go back for more. You always go back for more.

Happy Reading,

Alison

Stacking the Shelves is a weekly meme hosted by Tynga’s Reviews.

I picked up 5 books this week. Technically I picked up more as one is a boxed set.

I used an audible credit to get Fractured Souls. I’m listening to this book now.

Fractured

I also purchased these kindle books:

mud

I finished reading Mud Vein yesterday (review coming soon), and I must admit to HATING this book while loving it. Someone please tell me if I’ll feel the same way after reading her Love Me with Lies series.

keatyn

I had already read the first 4 books in this series, but with it being only 99 cents, it was a deal to get the rest of the series this way. I finished reading Adore Me yesterday so you can expect a review soon.

beautiful

I devoured this the night of its release. I loved Thomas’s story! Watch for the review soon!

This will probably be the next book I start. I’ve only read one Courtney Cole book, but it’s stuck with me enough that I can still remember it 100 books later. I don’t know why I haven’t gotten to more of her books. I guess it goes back to the usual more books than time.

You can also check out my Kindle Freebies post HERE to see what freebies I picked up.

So, what new books did you stack your shelves with this week?

Happy Reading,

Alison

Review ~ Never Never

Never Never

Best friends since they could walk. In love since the age of fourteen. Complete strangers since this morning.
He’ll do anything to remember. She’ll do anything to forget.

My *****5 Star***** Review

What the CRAP?!? Colleen and Tarryn are MADDENING eeeevil geniuses. Now we’re all throwing around theories as if this was as important as discovering who assassinated a president. People are spending hours googling up voodoo and New Orleans. I wouldn’t be surprised if some fangirls are planning trips there now in hopes of figuring out this story!!!
Ok, so, if you haven’t read it, then you should know that it’ll leave you screaming! I’m talking MAJOR cliffie, and you’ll be wondering what the heck just happened. How it happened? Why it happened? Who made it happen? Yeah, LOTS and LOTS of questions! You’ll have lots of ideas, but you’ll be praying they’re all wrong!
What’s super amazing about this is that you’re able to follow along and get sucked in! Most thrillers I’ve read that are even remotely similar leave you wondering if the author is making any sense through parts of it. It all makes sense! But it all doesn’t!!!
I honestly was leaning for 4.5 stars on this book until I learned how Colleen and Tarryn had dropped clues in every line. Freakin’ genius I tell you. This wasn’t just enjoyable writing that leaves you rooting for two teens that you know should be together but have had some rough circumstances. This was well thought out and perfectly executed! 5 AMAZINGLY BRILLIANT STARS!!!! Can NOT wait for Never Never: Part Two!

Happy Reading,

Alison

Waiting on Wednesday #12 ~ Never Never: Part Two

Waiting on Wednesday is a weekly event hosted by Jill at Breaking the Spine that highlights upcoming releases that we’re eagerly anticipating.

I’m eagerly waiting on:

never

Expected Release Date: May 17, 2015

If you haven’t read Never Never then you probably won’t want to read my reasons why I NEED to get my hands on part two. This will definitely be SPOILERISH!!!!

So, I have my suspicions about the story. My very first is that they were dead. I kept reasoning that people wouldn’t be talking to them if that was the case, but who knows. I’m just seriously hoping they aren’t, and that I’ll get my HEA! I need the HEA! Some are suspecting that they’re in a coma, but some are angry about that. I wouldn’t be as long as they wake up and live happily ever after!! Anyways, it was genius with Hoover and Fisher filling ever sentence with clues and leaving us guessing! I can’t wait to get my hands on part two!

I’d love to hear any theories you Never Never fans may have!

Also, be sure to let me know what you’re waiting on this week!!

Happy Reading,

Alison
