Ali’s December 2019 Monthly Wrap-Up

Linking up with Monthly Wrap-Up Round Up at Feed Your Fiction Addiction.

December was a bizarre reading month for me with the holidays. I can’t believe I read 15 books (16 really because The Maysen Jar Box Set has 2 books in it)! I was a reading machine at the beginning of the month, but I got very little reading done the last two weeks of the month since I had family and friends over nonstop.

#ohwhatfunreadathon Wrap-Up

This is always such a crazy busy time for me. So, it’s nice finding an extra excuse like a readathon, to make myself slow down for a bit and spend some time reading. I went into #ohwhatfunreadathon with very little expectations. I knew I wanted to focus mostly on the nice list but figured I might get to the naughty list a little, too. Let’s see how I did. #IMWAYR ~ 12/23/19

It’s Monday! What Are You Reading? a place to meet up and share what you have been, and are about to be reading over the week. It’s a great post to organise yourself. It’s an opportunity to visit and comment and er… add to your groaning TBR pile! So welcome in everyone. This meme started on J Kaye’s blog and then was hosted by Sheila from Book Journey. Sheila then passed it on to Kathryn at The Book Date. Jen Vincent, Teach Mentor Texts, and Kellee of Unleashing Readers decided to give It’s Monday! a kidlit focus. If you read and review books in children’s literature – picture books, chapter books, middle grade novels, young adult novels or anything in those genres – join them.

#ohwhatfunreadathon TBR

I am so excited to be participating in a second readathon this month! I have been so crazy busy preparing for Christmas, and these readathons really help me to slow down and take some needed me time.

Ali’s December 2019 TBR

I really enjoy putting together a TBR for each month, but I found that I also like to give myself some freedom to add things in here and there. So, this month’s TBR is a list of all the books I need to read to complete my 2019 challenges and that I’m hoping to read for a couple readathons this month. The rest of my TBR space I’ll be leaving open for whatever I’m in the mood for this month.
